Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer Tony Hernandez is the founder & CEO of Jax Media.
Tony oversees and produces all projects at Jax Media and has expanded operations internationally from New York and Los Angeles to London.
Using his two decades of producing experience he created the unique Jax Media model and produced award-winning scripted and late-night shows, features and specials including Emmy-winning Russian Doll, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee & Inside Amy Schumer, Emmy-nominated Broad City, Academy Award-winning Precious, and critically acclaimed projects such as Desus & Mero, Younger, Search Party, Work in Progress, A Black Lady Sketch Show and Chris Rock: Tamborine.
John Skidmore is an Emmy-nominated producer and founding member of Jax Media who currently serves as its Chief Operating Officer, where he oversees all aspects of Jax operations. Some of his credits include A Black Lady Sketch Show, Broad City, Russian Doll, Search Party, and stand-up specials including Chris Rock: Tamborine, John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous, Mike Birbiglia: The New One, and Bumping Mics.
Lilly Burns is an Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning creative producer and founding member of Jax Media. She served as an executive producer and director on Broad City, and Search Party. Burns also works as an executive producer on Russian Doll, Desus & Mero, and Emily in Paris among others.
Brooke Posch is an Emmy nominated producer and President of Jax Media where she oversees all TV and film development and production in the US and UK. She was previously co-head of Paper Kite Productions with Amy Poehler and the former Senior Vice President of Programming at Comedy Central. Brooke served as executive producer on Broad City , Difficult People , A Black Lady Sketch Show , Wedding Season and served as a producer on the film Fire Island. Brooke developed Broad City, Inside Amy Schumer, Difficult People, Russian Doll, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Wedding Season and Fire Island among others.
Sarah Magidan is the Head of Business Affairs and Strategic Partnerships at Jax Media and leads dealmaking and strategy across the company. She has previously worked on building new businesses for traditional media companies, including MGM and BBC America, as well as for technology companies, including Netflix and Facebook. Sarah’s experience includes content distribution, acquisitions, production, financing, and strategic transactions.
Jake Fuller is an Emmy-nominated producer and Head of Production at Jax Media, overseeing physical production across offices in LA, New York, Atlanta, and London. Jake started his career in New York, where he climbed the ladder from Production Assistant to Line Producer. His credits include Broad City, Search Party, The Other Two, and Emily in Paris.
Molly Seymour is Head of Jax Media UK. Since opening the London office in 2019, Molly has been building a slate of diverse and original projects with some of the most exciting new and established UK talent. Before joining the Jax team, Molly worked as a comedy producer at Baby Cow Productions (co-founded by Steve Coogan). Prior to this, Molly was associate producer to (writer/director) Richard Curtis across Red Nose Day UK and USA as well as assisting him on films About Time, Esio Trot and for the Global Goals campaign for their launch at the United Nations in 2015.
John Hodges is Head of Film for Jax Media, where he heads Jax’s feature film development and production. Prior to joining Jax in 2019, John was a founding partner of A24, where he helped oversee acquisition and distribution on some of the company’s roster of more than 70 films, which includes Spring Breakers, Ex Machina, Amy, Lady Bird, and Best Picture winner Moonlight, as well as spearheading the formation of the A24 TV department. Prior to A24, John ran production and development for Big Beach (Little Miss Sunshine).
Michael “Boogie” Pinckney
Michael is Head of Diverse Recruitment and Advancement at Jax and runs the Jax Jobs Program. Michael got his start as an Assistant Director on films such as “Inside Man” and “Precious” as well as TV shows like “Broad City” and “Law & Order CI” before transitioning to writing and directing. His feature film debut was distributed by Lionsgate and Executive Produced by Spike Lee. He’s directed a variety of digital series from “Sole Kings” for BRIC TV and “Black Actress” for Issa Rae Productions in addition to “The Trade” the Award-Winning film about sex trafficking.
